All professional boards and associations in New Zealand ask clinicians to receive specialised clinical supervision as part of their requirements to obtain their Annual Practicing Certificate.
Supervision within the field of counselling, psychology and psychotherapy, clinical supervision is now recognised as a specialty in its own right (Bernard & Goodyear, 2008) and is no longer viewed as merely an extension of the training or therapeutic process but as a valuable asset to ongoing professional development.
We have on our team clinicians and practitioners with training and experience in providing supervision, and are registered under the HPCA (2003). We work hard to meet the contractual expectations of our clients' employers whilst at the same time maintaining a confidential and personal service for our supervision clients.
Please contact us for more information regarding your professional supervision needs.
